"Under lockdown strange things happened for SALT, getting the opportunity from HX Records, to release a vinyl-only record. The album is called Cellophane, the title song was written well before we were all feeling like we were 'Wrapped in Cellophane'. The album is very much a DIY effort, recorded, mixed and mastered by ourselves.

Due to lock down restrictions the full release has been delayed until Summer. It is a special limited release in blue vinyl.

To help promote the album, HX records commissioned New York City's Award Winning Video Director, Dylan Mars Greenberg, to create a documentary on SALT. She's been working on projects with Cherie Currie (the Runaways) and Bob Bert (Sonic Youth).

The SALT documentary called Under the Charts is a quirky take on what SALT is all about, from the absurd to the serious. It has had interest from Channel 4, but this will be its full online premiere on Limbic TV. Alongside the video, there will be highlights from the SALT live Limbic TV appearance late last year. Some of the band will be in the studio to chat about it."
