We, Tandale, are an alternative/rock band consisting of three brothers from the Scottish Borders.

With roots in traditional music, our writing and performing has taken us in quite a different direction. Isolation, the Borders countryside, friends, family, experiences and musical inspirations new and old all influence our music. We write and play all our own material bringing some fresh new energy to the table with a recent EP and energetic setlist.

With the absence of gigs, we initially took to the home studio approach, recording a few of our songs, sharing recordings and videos on social media platforms beginning on Soundcloud to now releasing our debut EP to wider release on all platforms. As well as posting regular music on our social media platforms we played an online set of our songs at Stowed Out festival 2020 back in August, and were amazed by all the amazing feedback. Since then, we are waiting on a rescheduled gig at Marmions in October, and are very excited to play at Limbic!
