Fisty Muffs, LimbicTV Live stream

Fistymuffs are a political post-punk, Riot Grrrl band from Edinburgh. Graduates of Girls Rock School Edinburgh, they have been gigging extensively since 2016 and have played at several UK festivals including Book Yer Ane Fest in Dundee, Rise Up Quines festival in Aberdeen, and Hell Hath New Fury festival in Manchester. They were also chosen by The Skinny to play the Pyramid stage at Kelburn festival in 2020, a slot they will fill when the festival runs again in 2022. They have played support slots for many notable acts, including Screaming Females, Sløtface, Tongue Trap, Gravelle, Petrol Girls, Dream Nails and War on Women. Their music has been played on BBC Introducing Scotland and Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing Mixtape.

Fistymuffs lyrics are powerful and sometimes tackle dark subjects such as abuse in relationships and suicidal feelings, but always leave the listener feeling empowered, knowing that a better life is possible. Fistymuffs aim to empower people with their music and have been known to inspire other women to start their own bands. Their live performances have been described as emotionally raw, energetic, dance worthy and deeply moving. Their first EP, About Time, was released in July 2018. Their second, We Fight, was recorded and produced by Russell Burns from legendary Edinburgh punk band The Fire Engines.
